What’s in your piggy bank?
“I’m taking everything!”
Who pays whom, how much, and for how long?
Love requires support. So does the law.
Who gets the pets?
“Set your priorities. Know what you’re willing to give up in order to get what you want.”

How does mediation work?
Divorce mediation is a guided collaboration to solve a common problem between two people.
Mediating your divorce agreement will save you time, money and stress. Unlike litigation, where a judge makes the decisions, you and your spouse get the ball rolling by creating your proposed agreement, and then letting your Divorce Mediator guide your negotiations.
It’s a process that allows you the control in planning the next chapter in your lives.
Through monitored discussions on your Parenting Plan, Monthly Budgets, Division of Assets, Alimony, Child Support, and Pet Arrangements, the objective is to provide a cooperative means for defining a new lifestyle structure.
As an added incentive....
When you approach divorce planning as a common problem two people need to solve together — as opposed to launching an expensive and contentious court battle— it is possible to more easily let go of past marital issues, in favor of moving forward with a clarified vision of the future.
Mediation is not therapy.
Mediating your divorce agreement is also not an opportunity to launch a litigious battle. Your Divorce Mediator will not be your judge and jury, but will manage your negotiations in a way that is balanced and productive, serving as a neutral third party.
